Crafting identity at the intersection
of vintage, art and high fashion.
A vintage garment is epitomized by its natural textiles, unique and thoughtful construction, and the fades, wear, and repairs that are proof of its history. Clothing that has been passed from person to person holds a special value, a historic narrative with a bond to authenticity. But a garment passing through time can be unruly, fragile, and elusive. The handoff from one to another isn’t always clean; it may never happen at all. Finding and curating these textiles with stories to share, Lastditch is the last-ditch effort to pass on sensational garments, at least one more time.
As a studio exploring the intersection of art, design, and vintage, Lastditch constructs thoughtful visual communication and crafts projects rooted in vintage fashion. I developed a visual identity that pays homage to the garments Lastditch curates, while leaning into a high-fashion minimalism.
Rough yet elegant, traditional yet unique, the rustic chic of vintage clothing. Drawing inspiration from 1960s and 1970s illustration, rough textures that mimic aged fabrics, and a raw conceptual approach, the studio celebrates vintage aesthetics while merging them with the contemporary climate of art and design, unafraid to experiment, much like the designers of the past.

Utilizing the high arm of a serif ‘L,’ the logo forms a subtle

In collaboration with photographers Sharad Doshi and Alexis Zeiser as well as, Lastditch co-owner Virginia Vecellio, the studio successfully relaunched in 2025 with its first large creative endeavor titled Upswing, a vintage styling and fashion photography project that coincided with an evolving identity.
Upswing demonstrated Lastditch’s versatility beyond buying and selling, and showcased a dedication to the intersection of art, design, and vintage. I creatively directed, designed photo sets, styled looks, modeled, edited photos/videos, and designed/advertised the project roll out from start to finish.

IvyPresto is the primary typeface for Lastditch, reminiscent of the serif fonts seen in 1970s and 80s magazine advertisements. It captures a sense of editorial sophistication while maintaining the vintage roots that complements the brand’s identity.
